Term One saw us looking at the question "How can we Help?" This inquiry was based around how people imapct the environment. We focussed on marine environments and a lot of learning was done about Te Angiangi Marine Reserve in Central Hawkes Bay. We had school trips to Marineland and The National Aquarium of New Zealand. We watched many DVD's about fishing for the future and the purpose of a reserve.
At the end we created a snakes and ladders game board, showing the good and bad things we do to a marine environment, we played these in class and will take home to share with our families and friends.
